About Kuine

The village of Kuine is a community of approximately 2,000 people located in the Mohnyal municipality. Most community members are farmers who rear livestock and grow corn, rice and wheat.

Work began back into 2018 to build a school block for the community, however more classroom space was needed for their students, and several were being taught in temporary classrooms that were deemed unfit by both engineers and the local government.

Today, all that has changed and the students of Kuine now have enough safe, spacious classrooms in which to learn and no longer have to walk 5km to the nearest village with a proper school.
