Prior to the ground-breaking buildOn representatives hold meetings with all of the village to explain the importance of education and how each and every member of the village can support the new school.

Each member of the village signs the covenant. This is their commitment to the school. Here you can see the chief of the village signing.

All of the men and women of the village sign the covenant, making a promise that equal numbers of girls as boys will be sent to the school.

Many of the adults in the village can not read and write themselves, so use their thumb prints to sign the covenant.
